Yes. Every ALFA electric bike can be charged using a standard Sri Lankan household power socket. No special charging equipment or home installation is required—simply plug the supplied charger into a regular wall outlet. Charging at home is simple, convenient, and works anywhere with a standard electrical outlet.
Yes. ALFA electric bikes are equipped with an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) and a inhibitor chip that continuously monitors the battery during charging. Once the battery reaches full charge, the charger automatically stops charging to help protect the battery. For the best performance and safety, always use the original ALFA charger supplied with your bike.
If you won't be riding your ALFA for an extended period, first switch it off from the main breaker located under your seat in the storage area and it's best to leave the battery charged between 50% and 80% and recharge it every few weeks. This helps preserve battery health and ensures your bike is ready to ride when you need it. Avoid storing the battery completely discharged for long periods.
The riding range of an electric bike can vary depending on several factors, including rider weight, passenger load, speed, riding mode, road conditions, terrain, tyre pressure, and riding style. Riding at moderate speeds in Eco Mode will provide the maximum range, while frequent acceleration, steep hills, or higher speeds will naturally reduce the distance you can travel on a single charge.

Please see our cost comparisons in our website, please know that due to the high volatility of fuel prices, the comparisons might not be up to date.
ALFA electric bikes require considerably less maintenance than petrol motorcycles because there are no engine oil changes, spark plugs, air filters, or clutch components to service. After the first two complimentary services during the first year, ongoing maintenance mainly consists of scheduled servicing every 5,000 km or 6 months, along with the replacement of normal wear-and-tear items such as brake pads and tyres when required.
Every ALFA electric bike is backed by a comprehensive manufacturer's warranty for your peace of mind. Depending on the model, the bike is covered by a warranty of up to 3 years, while the battery is covered separately for 2 to 3 years or between 25,000 km and 40,000 km, whichever comes first. The vehicle warranty covers all factory-fitted components except the battery, which is protected under its own dedicated battery warranty. Warranty periods may vary by model, so our team will be happy to explain the coverage applicable to the bike you choose.
